Oneg (Potluck Meal)
Each week, following the Shabbat services, we have an Oneg. An Oneg is a potluck meal shared with others within the congregation. You are invited to join us! Each family is requested to bring enough food to provide for the number of people in your family and a few others to share. All beverages are provided by Beth Shalom Messianic Congregation.
It is important to note that the Beth Shalom Messianic Congregation follows the Scriptural definition of food, as found in Leviticus, chapter 11. In other words, we request that you obstain from bringing any foods that contain pork or pork products, shellfish, etc. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Rabbi Berkson directly at (423) 825-4975 for guidance.
We look forward to having you join us!
